Express Employment Professionals is looking for experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for a company located in Layton.
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Industrial Sewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing with industrial material and upholstering various products. Job may include other manufacturing and assembly tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including outside/inside
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines
- Sew according to specifications
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow established patterns and specifications, as well as create new patterns and specifications as necessary
- Contribute to the production of finished goods
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as Industrial Sewing with at least 6 months of experience
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- This position requires the ability to stand and move throughout the shift, communicate in English effectively with a team, perform fast, repetitive movements for a minimum of 8 hours per day, and periodically bend, twist, and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days, 6:45a-3:30pm
Pay: $16/hr
