Express Hosts National Hiring Week Aug. 2-6 Amidst Hiring Crunch

Thousands of Immediate Job Openings at Franchise Locations

In a hot labor market ripe with competition for top talent, Express Employment Professionals is hosting its fourth annual mass interviewing event, now expanded from one day to a full week, Aug. 2-6, 2021. 8-2-2021

Formerly called National Interview Day, the event was first created by the staffing company and celebrated in 2018 as a new way to recruit and educate job seekers in a historically tight labor market. With temporary business closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic adding to talent shortages across the country since last year, Express' more than 830 franchise locations are stepping up, now more than ever, to provide hope through employment with this expanded hiring event.

Job seekers are encouraged to visit ExpressPros.com/HiringEvent before Monday, Aug. 2 and complete an application to expedite the interview process. Applicants will then be contacted for interviews, possibly before Aug. 2, based on the type of work they are seeking, and as always with Express, will never be charged a fee.

As a free benefit to job seekers and in preparation for an interview, the National Hiring Week website features links to Express' Job Journey blog, which provides articles and advice for every step of your career. This includes interview tips, resume critiques, salary negotiations and more.

Express also offers the Job Genius program for those new to the workforce or looking to enter it within the next few years. This free instructional video series contains a job market forecast, career pathing, tips for money management, trending career tracks and everything you need to make decisions for your employment future.

"Express has more than 39,000 jobs open across North America and as the economic recovery accelerates from the recession of 2020, companies need workers to sustain growth," said Bill Stoller, Express CEO.

"Opportunities are available to get back to work, and our recruiters are ready with a variety of positions. No matter the circumstances, Express continues to strive toward putting a million people to work annually!"
