What to expect:
The Business Development Representative is an integral part to our sales, marketing and staffing team, as these are people who are outgoing, forward thinking, and always thinking of ways to network with other local businesses. The Business Development Representative will help build our client list so that our staffing team have a variety of opportunities to choose from when placing candidates with their perfect match.
Responsibilities include:
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-¬benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 (+) years of customer service, retail, or sales experience.
- Data entry Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and goal driven
- Having a great student mentality
- Experience with B2B is a plus, but willingness to learn is even better!
