Overview
We are seeking individuals to join our client's technical sales team. The position involves a balance of technical services, quality control, regulatory compliance, and sales, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for products sold in the USA and Canada
- Manage product sample collection, shipping, and follow-up with customers
- Handle customer questionnaires and document support
- Create and maintain Certificates of Analysis and product specifications
- Communicate technical details effectively with customers
- Update website content and maintain regulatory compliance for products and packaging
- Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory rules in the USA and Canada
- Maintain and update Product Safety information
- Address and resolve customer and supplier complaints related to product quality
- Oversee quality systems and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage labeling and safety data sheets to ensure they meet regulatory requirements
- Assist with market evaluations and introduction of new products
- Analyze changes in the market environment and respond to evolving customer needs
- Contribute to new product development by providing technical insights and market feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory, regulatory department, or plant operations
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in technical sales or support within the chemical industry
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
- Excellent computer skills and Excel
