Production Tech / Machine Operator
Location: Hamburg, NJ
Pay rate: $18.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:45PM-10:15PM

Job Description
- Communicates process and product information to fellow production technicians and supervisors as needed to ensure prompt action on critical tasks.
- Operates various production and processing equipment as necessary to fulfill customer demands.
- Supports colleagues by performing different operations to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Fills in as a process technician when needed to ensure continuous production.
- Reports any issues that may impact the quality of work to the department Foreperson or Supervisor.
- Notifies the Foreperson or Supervisor of any accidents or unsafe conditions in the workplace.
- Always wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) and keeps the work area tidy.
- Utilizes appropriate measuring tools and methods, as outlined in the Manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP), to monitor and ensure the quality of produced parts.
- Identifies defective parts through visual inspection or using gauging equipment and completes necessary documentation for defects.
- Repairs and reworks defective parts using various hand tools, powered devices, and materials to meet customer standards.
- Determines which parts are beyond repair and assists the Foreperson or Supervisor in managing their disposal.
- Moves materials within the factory as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Must have a valid non-CDL driver’s license
- Must be willing to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in on-going random drug screen program
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
