Job Full Description
💼 Position: Packaging Operator
🌍 Location: Foley, AL
Hours: Monday – Sunday availability needed; this position is rotating days and nights - shift work, 12-hour shifts.
Pay: $18 an hour
🔹 Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection operations within the guidelines and policy
- Operate and maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 5S methodology
- Manage and maintain waste and general trash accumulated from the warehouse packaging and material handling operation
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating a forklift (or the willingness to learn how to operate a forklift)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work a rotating shift
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Good attendance
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to think in a logical fashion
