Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installation, the ability to lead a team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Supervise and mentor installation technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure all installations meet company, local, and national code requirements.
- Perform quality control checks to guarantee proper system functionality.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of HVAC installation experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
- Licensing & Certifications: EPA 608 Certification required; NATE certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Valid Driver’s License: Required with a clean driving record.
