Job Summary:

• Looking for a plasma operations lead for 2nd shift. This person will manage a crew of 3 to 4 to produce customer parts efficiently and to customer’s specifications.

Schedule & Pay:

• MON-FRI 2ND SHIFT 3:30PM-11:30PM
• Willingness to Work Overtime as Needed, Including Weekends
• Ability to Stay until Tasks are finished Properly
• $22-28/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage helper crew to load and unload materials to plasma tables in a safe manner
• Nest customers’ parts through computer software
• Document material lot numbers on every job
• Change plasma equipment consumables as needed
• Work with quality department to verify parts meet customer specifications
• Assist maintenance in repairs of plasma tables as needed
• Ensure all routine maintenance is performed routinely
• Lead changeout of table slats when necessary
• Record all work activities through DSW’s operations system

Job Requirements:

• Experience operating cutting equipment
• Experience in steel industry is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude (assembling plasma components)
• Computer skills for nesting parts
• Knowledge of operating systems (SAP, JobBoss, etc.) is a plus
