Job Full Description
Job Summary: Full-time opening with a 35 year plus, established CPA firm, who is heavily involved in the local community. They are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage multiple client accounts.
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:
- Bank reconciliations
- Handling monthly client bookkeeping for various companies in real time
- Monthly & quarterly write up
- Payroll tax returns
- Quarterly payroll tax returns
- Sales tax returns
- Adjusting journal entries
- Business licenses
- W-2 & 1099 preparation
Schedule, Pay, & Benefits:
- FULL TIME; Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week (some OT required during tax season, BUT the firm closes for 2-3 days following Tax Day each year)
- $50,000-$60,000/year depending on experience
- Full benefits package including 401k with match; health, dental, & vision insurance, flexible schedule; PTO
Here's What Makes YOU a Great Fit:
- MS Office, Adobe, Quickbooks Desktop & Online experience preferred
- Willingness to work OT when needed (see schedule, pay, & benefits above)
- B.S. in Accounting preferred
- Public accounting experience/tax experience a plus
- Good work ethic; punctual & dependable; take pride in your work
- Good teamwork & communication skills
- Drug-free; background check
