Job Title: Certified Wastewater Technician

Shift: Night
Pay Range: $16-$22 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on wastewater treatment systems.
- Monitor and adjust chemical dosages and equipment settings to optimize treatment processes.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Collect samples and conduct laboratory analyses to assess water quality and treatment effectiveness.
- Document operational data, test results, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues with equipment and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Wastewater Technician or similar role in wastewater treatment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
- Certification as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (desired but not required).
