Are you a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for architecture and construction administration? We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator (CA) to lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects or a dedicated account with diligence.
  • Develop and review construction plans per client requirements.
  • Oversee assistant project managers and draftspersons.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and manage drafting.
  • Estimate project costs, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with timelines and regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and construction teams.
  • Conduct quality control and ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Adjust project schedules and budgets as necessary.
  • Research and ensure compliance with state and local building codes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
  • Conduct site surveys as needed.
  • Manage project teams and time management for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and consultants for project delivery.
  • Handle submittals, code reviews, and consultant coordination.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities when required.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an Architecture Project Manager in an architectural firm or construction field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong 3D design skills; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations, and drawings.
  • Experience with drafting retail or commercial construction documents preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is an advantage.
  • Must have excellent time management and people management skills to handle tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-20 years post-graduation.
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
  • Licensure or registration is a plus.
