Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift available (MANDATORY OVERTIME)
Pay Range: $16 per hour + MANDATORY OVERTIME
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team on 2nd or 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials, stocking the kitting line, and preparing orders for shipping. If you have forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload products onto/off trailers and transport them to designated facility areas.
- Follow work instructions and procedures related to packing/shipping, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), IATF, and C-TPAT compliance.
- Perform daily forklift maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Assist on the kitting line as needed.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous forklift certification required.
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a forklift written test.
- Must be able to pass a hearing and vision test.
- Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 70 lbs. with assistance.
- Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory control.
- Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
