CDL Driver - Local Deliveries
Position Overview
Join our team as a CDL Driver delivering landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to customers throughout the local area. This role combines driving responsibilities with customer service and warehouse duties to ensure successful branch operations.
Essential Duties
* Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
* Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over phone
* Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment
* Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pickup or delivery
* Assist with general branch operations and new technology implementation
Required Qualifications
* Valid Class A CDL license
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
* Strong customer service skills
* Physical capability for bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
* Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technologies
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred Skills
* Experience with manual transmission
* Moffett or truck-mounted forklift experience
* Previous warehouse or delivery experience
