Job Title: Gate Security Officer (55+ Community)
Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Gate Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious 55+ community. The Gate Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within the community by greeting visitors, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring adherence to community regulations. This position requires individuals with a strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and customer service.
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Compensation:
- $17.50 to $18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors to the community in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to residents and guests.
- Issue guest badges and ensure proper documentation for visitor access.
- Direct visitors to their destinations within the community and provide accurate directions as needed.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of residents.
- Monitor and control access to the community through the main gate.
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and security incidents.
- Collaborate with other members of the security team and community staff to ensure a cohesive approach to security operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a security or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to starting employment.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols is a plus.
