Job Title: New Construction Plumber
Location: Mesa, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Occasional Overtime as needed)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced New Construction Plumber with expertise in TOP OUT plumbing to join our team. This position requires a highly skilled individual who is comfortable working in new construction settings, primarily focused on plumbing installation and system configurations within the walls of new builds. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in new construction plumbing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in new construction projects.
- Focus on TOP OUT plumbing, which involves setting up the plumbing system above the foundation but before drywall or other finishes are applied.
- Interpret blueprints and plumbing layouts to ensure systems are installed correctly and to code.
- Work with various plumbing tools and materials to install pipes, fixtures, and valves within walls.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform required repairs as needed.
- Ensure all plumbing systems are functional, safe, and comply with building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide support to the team with any additional plumbing-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in new construction plumbing (specifically in the walls and top-out phase).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and plumbing system diagrams.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of various plumbing tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in tight spaces.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
