Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Heavy Auto Part Refurbishment Production and Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the refurbishment and repair of auto parts, as well as performing essential warehouse duties to support production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the refurbishment, repair, and cleaning of heavy auto parts.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Operate tools and machinery safely to remove rust, paint, and other materials from auto parts.
- Inspect auto parts for defects or damage and report any issues to supervisors.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Prepare auto parts for shipping and delivery by packing and labeling products.
- Ensure that all warehouse safety procedures are followed, including the proper use of steel-toed boots and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or auto parts refurbishment setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must wear steel-toed boots at all times.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts, tools, and materials.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
