Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday)
Location: Tolleson, AZ
Department: Operations
Reports To: Production Manager
Travel: None
Schedule: Full-time, 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, open to hours)
Position Overview:
Seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead and develop a production team during 3rd shift operations. This role is responsible for achieving daily production, quality, and safety goals, resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining compliance with food safety and manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of production or manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred), strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support 3rd shift production staff.

Ensure food safety and quality standards (GMP, OSHA, FDA, EPA) are met.

Communicate production schedules and shift priorities.

Monitor safety practices and address any hazards.

Maintain daily documentation related to production, maintenance, and personnel.

Ensure materials, equipment, and staffing meet shift needs.

Train and evaluate team members to ensure growth and compliance.

Collaborate with maintenance and sanitation teams.

Drive performance toward KPIs in safety, quality, cost, and culture.

Lead production in specialized areas such as press operations, sanitation, and drying.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Experience in food manufacturing highly preferred.

Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Knowledge of safety and food quality regulations (SQF, OSHA, FDA).

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field a plus.
Working Conditions:

Production environment with exposure to moving machinery, wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
