Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Immediate Full Time Quality Control Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. The manufacturing company is located in West Phoenix.
Pay Rate: $18/hr
2 years of Quality experience in Plastic industry
1 year of Quality experience in any industry
Full time/ Long term opportunity
Work Schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 3pm-1:30AM (2nd shift) Will be working 10hours/day, 4days/week.
**Must have experience in quality control inspection, and must be able to read micrometers and calipers, height gauges, and weight scale**
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Will determinate optimal pack out orientations and quantities in cooperation with Production Supervisor and/or QA Inspector, QA Manager, QA Tech.
- Lifting up to 40lbs, ability to consistently kneel/squat
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Manuel dexterity for detailed inspection
- Hands-on experience using a precision ruler, weigh scale, caliper, micrometer, and magna mikes height gauge, go-no gauges, etc.
