West Phoenix Flooring Warehouse is hiring for their Will-Call Desk
7:30am-4pm
$19/hour
Monday-Friday
The Will Call Desk Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service to individuals picking up pre-ordered items or tickets at our establishment. This role involves efficiently managing the will call area, ensuring that customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers promptly and courteously as they arrive at the will call desk.
2. Verify customer identities and retrieve their orders from storage or ticketing systems.
3. Accurately process transactions, including accepting payments if required.
4. Provide helpful information and assistance to customers regarding their orders or any related inquiries.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the will call area, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere.
6. Monitor inventory levels of will call items and communicate with appropriate departments to restock as needed.
7. Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency at the will call desk.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions, privacy, and security.
9. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them in a timely manner.
10. Keep detailed records of will call transactions and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
2. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with point-of-sale systems or ticketing software is desirable.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
