Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of luxury residential and commercial properties. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding promptly to service requests. The ideal candidate has a strong background in maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of properties, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of building systems and equipment.
- Repair and replace light fixtures, outlets, faucets, and other hardware as needed.
- Maintain the appearance of common areas, including cleaning, painting, and minor carpentry work.
- Collaborate with property managers to coordinate larger repairs and renovation projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with emergency maintenance tasks, including after-hours calls when required.
- Communicate effectively with residents, tenants, and team members to address concerns and provide high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in property maintenance, preferably in high-end residential or commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Availability for on-call work and occasional weekend shifts.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
