Temp Engineering & Electronics Technician
$20+ DOE
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept individual for a 6-month temporary position as an Engineering & Electronics Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in light assembly, programming electronics, and possess strong computer skills. You will be responsible for programming electronics, light assembly of custom electronic components, and assisting the engineering department in the assembly and testing of a motorized TV wall mount.
Key Responsibilities:
· Program and configure electronic components according to specified requirements.
· Assemble custom electronic components and subassemblies.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to assist in the assembly and testing of motorized TV wall mounts.
· Measure and verify mechanical components to ensure they meet specified dimensions.
· Perform data entry and maintain detailed records in Excel spreadsheets.
· Test and troubleshoot components to ensure they function correctly.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Provide support to the engineering team as needed on various tasks.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in light assembly and programming of electronic components.
· Technical aptitude with a strong understanding of electronics and mechanical components.
· Proficiency in computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel.
· Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and schematics.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
· Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement instruments.
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant coursework is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
· Ability to lift and move components up to 30 pounds.
