Job Description:
As a Plumber with Express Employment Professionals, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires expertise in plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and take pride in their craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations and repairs.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls in a timely manner.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety standards.
- Provide accurate estimates for plumbing services.
- Communicate with customers to explain work completed and offer advice on maintenance.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
- Adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent training preferred.
- Valid plumbing license or journeyman certification is highly desirable.
- 2+ years of plumbing experience in residential or commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
