Job Description:
As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring the safety and security of people and property. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, dependable, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Prevent unauthorized access to buildings, facilities, and restricted areas.
- Conduct regular checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarms, disturbances, and suspicious activities.
- Write detailed reports of daily activities, security incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and employees to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide assistance to visitors, direct them to appropriate locations, and answer questions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while on duty.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and alert in high-pressure situations.
- Must be physically capable of walking, standing, and performing routine patrols.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
