Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Bilingual Forklift Driver / Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will play an essential role in maintaining the smooth operations of our yard by safely operating forklifts and assisting with various tasks to support the yard team. This is a great opportunity for a bilingual individual with experience in operating forklifts and handling yard operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials in the yard.
- Organize and maintain inventory and materials in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Assist with yard cleanup and maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring materials are securely handled and stored.
- Perform inspections on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with drivers, vendors, and internal staff.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Other general yard duties as assigned.
