Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furniture & Cabinetry Worker to join our team! This position involves working with wood to create custom furniture and cabinetry pieces. If you’re someone who has hands-on experience in a woodshop setting and has a genuine passion for craftsmanship, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Work with wood and other materials to create furniture and cabinetry products
- Operate and maintain equipment such as planers, sanders, and table saws
- Cut, shape, sand, and finish materials to specifications
- Ensure precision, quality, and attention to detail in all products
- Follow blueprints, sketches, or instructions to complete projects
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferably with woodworking experience in school)
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a furniture or cabinetry setting (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to safely operate woodworking tools (planer, sander, table saw, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
