Job Summary:
The Customer Service/Claims Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, handling claims for damages or lost items, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the moving process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Providing top-tier customer service and seamless moving experiences. We take pride in our ability to handle customer inquiries and claims with professionalism and efficiency. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a friendly and organized Customer Service/Claims Associate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their inquiries.

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Create and process claims for damages or lost items during the moving process.

  • Collaborate with the claims department to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.

  • Work closely with the operations team to coordinate moves and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Provide guidance and support to customers throughout the moving process.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction after the move is completed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation.

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to customer service and claims processing.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to customer service and claims processing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or claims processing.

  • Ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience handling claims or working in a high-stress environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with the moving or transportation industry is a plus.

  • Experience with claims processing software preferred but not required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for managing multiple spreadsheets.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Emphasis on longevity in previous roles, demonstrating commitment and reliability.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience.
