Job Title: Manufacturing Lead Operator
Location: Tempe, AZ
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Lead Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team in the Tempe area. This role involves overseeing the efficient and high-quality production of items while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clean room environment, operating machinery, and working collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Pay: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift, 10-hour shifts (Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot production machinery and assemblies.
- Follow detailed work instructions, monitor materials, and inspect parts to ensure quality standards.
- Safely perform manufacturing, packaging, and labeling in a clean room environment.
- Maintain product packaging accuracy and traceability.
- Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
- Accurately complete production paperwork, including Device History Records and Work Orders.
- Suggest improvements for tools, equipment, and processes.
- Utilize small hand tools and precision devices as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while upholding safety and quality assurance standards.
- Communicate effectively and positively with team members and supervisors.
- Detect and address quality defects in parts and products.
- Actively support department initiatives such as 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Previous experience as a Lead Operator or equivalent in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications; MRP/ERP experience is a plus.
- 0–3 years of clean room experience preferred.
- Experience following detailed work instructions and process documentation.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Medical device or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment:
This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments, including clean room conditions. Standard office equipment and manufacturing machinery will be utilized.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, and use hands for precision tasks.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 10-hour shifts. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- No travel required.
