Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our team and deliver appliances to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a box truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances to customer locations.
- Load, unload, and secure appliances on the truck.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting with appliance installation and setup when required.
- Inspect the truck and equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, receipts, and any issues that arise.
- Assist with warehouse duties when necessary, including inventory checks and unloading shipments.
- Communicate with the dispatch team to report delivery progress, delays, or any issues.
- Ensure appliances are delivered in pristine condition and handle returns or damages as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid DOT for box truck operation.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in appliance delivery or similar fields.
