Your Opportunity as the Human Resources Manager

Are you ready to make a difference at an Arkadelphia production facility? Express Employment is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our client's team and lead their local HR support and services. This role is 100% onsite in Arkadelphia, AR.

What You'll Do:

  • Leadership Role: Serve on the site leadership team, acting as a coach, advisor, and confidante to operations leaders.
  • HR Management: Oversee plant HR activities including hourly recruiting, performance management, employee/labor relations, and local talent management.
  • Drive Performance: Lead high performance work systems and enhance organizational capability.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of the plant’s practices, business needs, and procedures to execute HR tasks effectively.
  • Strategic Support: Design programs, policies, and practices to attract, retain, and engage talent in alignment with business strategy.
  • Community Engagement: Manage activities like community outreach and employee events.
  • Policy Implementation: Plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure excellent service delivery, managing tasks to meet deadlines and service levels.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5 years of HR functional experience (e.g., employee relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, employee data)
    • Previous management experience
    • Experience working at a manufacturing site
    • Experience leading and mentoring a team
    • Proven track record of delivering and improving HR processes
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects under pressure
    • Experience with third-party vendors
    • Strong leadership skills and business/operational knowledge
  • Preferred Skills:

    • HR Generalist experience
    • Labor Relations experience
    • Food manufacturing experience
    • Experience in High Performance Organization work systems
    • PHR or SPHR certification
