Are you skilled in bonding a variety of materials and ready to take on a new challenge? Express Employment is recruiting for a dedicated Bonding Specialist to join an Aerospace manufacturer in Hot Springs, AR. This is your chance to work on exciting projects and make a significant impact!
What You'll Do:
- Material Bonding: Bond composite or metal assemblies, parts, skins, components, or structures into semi-finished or finished products.
- Precision Work: Lay out articles, cut parts to size, and apply bonding agents.
- Operate Equipment: Use autoclaves, hot bonders, and ovens to complete bonding cycles, controlling heat, pressure, and timing.
- Quality Assurance: Sand, burr, smooth areas, apply sealing resins, and monitor the quality of finished products.
- Repairs: Perform bond repairs on flight control and nacelle components, including simple SRM repairs and complex engineering repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Metal Bonding: Perform SRM/CMM or Engineering metal bond repairs, remove and replace skins, doublers, and core, and maintain correct contour and tolerances.
- Composite Bonding: Perform SRM/CMM or Engineering composite bond repairs using pre-preg or wet lay-up material, and maintain correct contour and tolerances.
- Bagging Procedures: Execute bagging procedures for specific repairs, controlling conditions of heat, pressure, and timing.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in bonding, with certification. AA degree is desired.
- Skills: Ability to work independently in all forms of bonding, strong understanding of bonding processes, and excellent attention to detail.
- Compliance: Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations, and legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Communication: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
