Job Full Description
Small local (MALVERN) diner is looking for a cook. Preparing typical diner food (burgers, fried food, etc.. ). They need someone who can read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to orders, and prepare and cook food according to instructions. Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils. Might on occasion need to deliver food to the table (so interact with the customers).
Hours: 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays 6 am- 12 (noon) and the pay is $12.00/hr.
COOK Duties include but are not limited to:
* Prep & clean grill
* Prepare food according to meal tickets
* Communicate with Food Service Workers
* Work safely around hot surfaces & kitchen area
High School Diploma or GED required
COOK Qualified candidates must have previous experience as a cook, possess the ability to read & align food orders correctly, take direction well, work with others cooperatively, and pay close attention to detail. In addition, candidates must be able to bend/stretch and lift up to 25 lbs.
