Compensation: $200.00 per load - Pine Bluff
Position Overview: As a Local Yard Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight within the yard and to local destinations. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a CDL vehicle to transport loads within the yard and to local delivery points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring secure transport.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations while on duty.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B).
- Previous experience as a yard driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.
