Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class A CDL Regional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with regional driving, along with a strong focus on safety and timely deliveries. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred, as the driver will be transporting hazardous materials and liquids in specialized equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A truck, delivering freight to various regional destinations.
- Ensure all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and transported according to safety guidelines.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, mileage, and deliveries.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Deliver hazardous materials and liquids (Tanker and Hazmat endorsement required or preferred).
- Ensure on-time delivery and maintain professional relationships with clients and customers.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred (or the ability to obtain within a specified time frame).
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to adhere to DOT regulations and company policies.
- Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and some nights, as needed.
