A great company in Russellville is looking for an experienced heavy-duty diesel mechanic WITH their own tools!
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity that can lead to full benefits, vacation, 401K, and performance pay increases.
Job Description:
- Complete troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on engine products and other customer equipment in a service shop.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on the assessment of engines, tires, brakes, and electrical inspections, including utilizing computers/software in the process of diagnostic work.
- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Completing required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Ongoing training and additional certifications on new and existing products.
- Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and procedures and report any issues/incidents to their supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous diesel mechanic experience.
- Must be willing to work in high humidity and slippery floors; must be willing to work in hot/cold temps.
- Must be willing to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the day.
- Must have no violations that would prevent being cleared to drive a vehicle.
- Must meet prescreening requirements.
- This position requires bending, stooping, reaching, lifting
- Must be willing to perform any job as assigned by Management.
