Job Full Description
A local company is looking for experience Industrial Painters!
Job Duties:
- Painting various structures and surfaces in industrial settings
- Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint
- Removing previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse
- Apply protective coatings or finishes to surfaces
- Maintaining technical equipment for the job
- Using viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint
- Mixing chemicals as needed for jobs
- Ensuring proper ventilation
- Utilizing special safety equipment and personal protective equipment
Requirements:
- Experience painting a variety of surface types.
- Proficiency with technical machinery.
- Ability to stand or bend for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
