A great manufacturing company in the Pottsville/Atkins area is hiring multiple Shop Laborers!
Job Description:
- Work in the warehouse as needed for production operations.
- Measuring, cutting, and aligning steel structures as needed.
- Positioning steel using cranes and hoisting methods.
- Running machines in the shop.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Keeping the shop and work area clean.
- Load, unload, and provide support as needed.
- Other duties as needed or assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment, cranes, and forklifts.
- Be able to read a tape measure fluently.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Must be willing to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the day.
- This position requires bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting throughout the duration of the shift.
- Must meet prescreening requirements.
