A great food manufacturing company in Russellville is looking to hire a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant! Raises are based on performance and attendance!

Job Duties:

• Responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, security and compliance with Federal, State, governmental, and/or appropriate regulatory law. 
• Monitor compliance with HACCP program.
• Maintain and update product and ingredient specifications.
• Perform split sample testing with the state.
• Responsible for compliance to quality standards set by customers.
• Perform all lab duties.
• Provide adequate training to employees and supervisors on quality systems, food safety, CGMP, and OSHA issues.
• Investigate consumer complaints.
• Continue education to maintain food safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience is preferred, but not required.
• Required to have state milk license (trained and certified on-site).
• Prior experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift, stand, stoop, crouch, and climb ladders.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. 
• Reliable and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to fill in for lab work as needed.
