Job Full Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Training, knowledge and satisfactory performance of job responsibilities as outlined below.
2. Training and knowledge of the Cross Contamination Policy
3. Training and knowledge of the Machine Operating Procedures
4. Training and knowledge of the following safety policies:
a. Personal Protective Equipment
b. Lock, Tag and Try
c. Machine/Room Clean out Procedure
d. Dust Collector Procedure
e. Ladder Safety & Use
f. Hot Work Procedure
5. Training in EPA Waste Handling Procedures
6. Training and knowledge of the MSDS information
7. Be able to lift a maximum of fifty-five (55) pounds repetitively.
8. Be able to work any shift and overtime if required.
9. Must be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours.
10. Must be able to wear a negative pressure respirator.
11. Will be required to shower after every shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible in supporting personnel in the operation of all machines. Specific items are:
a. machine set‑up
b. film sizing/cutting
c. trouble shooting
d. machine repair
e. tear down for product turn around
f. assist in keeping proper inventory of parts
g. pick‑up parts or other items in town as directed
2. Along with other employees, responsible for keeping the plant clean and orderly.
3. Perform other tasks as instructed by supervision and management.
HEALTH/SAFETY
1. Never operate any equipment that you have not been trained on.
2. All employees are expected to work safely at all times.
3. All employees are to report any injury immediately to Supervision.
Employees will be supplied with basic safety equipment and services such as;
a. coveralls
b. safety glasses
c. gloves
d. shower facilities & locker
e. respirator as required for job
The employee will be required to have on site one pair of steel toed safety shoes to work in and clothes to wear under coveralls such as, shirt, pants, socks, and underclothes. These items are to be kept at the plant and will be washed on site. Almost all areas are heated and cooled but during winter it maybe advisable to have some type of jacket on site.
A small tool allowance will be provided to the employee by the company. It would be helpful if the employee would provide himself with the basic tools needed. A safe lockable space will be provided for this.
