Location: Nash, TX

Hours: M-F, 7:30am-4pm

Pay: $17/hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with a background in accounting and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory management, bank reconciliations, and general accounting practices. In addition, the candidate will be expected to take on entry-level HR duties, providing valuable assistance in employee relations, recruitment, and general HR functions. This is a dynamic role requiring a versatile professional with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance Duties:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure that employee compensation is accurate and on time.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in preparing financial statements.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with the tracking and ordering of office supplies.
  • Support monthly and annual accounting audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Assist with general accounting duties as required by the finance department.

HR & Administrative Support Duties:

  • Provide entry-level HR support, including assisting with the recruitment process, scheduling interviews, and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Help maintain and update employee records, ensuring that all HR documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record-keeping, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
