Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Texarkana, AR. This is a full-time position in a shop environment, where you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, blueprint reading, and working with fabrication tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using tools such as saws, grinders, and torches
- Inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Work effectively in a team setting to meet production goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding (certifications are a plus)
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop setting
