A Atlanta Texas Company has an opening for a meter reader/water crew member position. Duties include mowing weed eating and working on water/sewer crews. Experience preferred, but not mandatory. The job requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history. The hours are 7am to 4:30 pm.

As a Water Meter Reader, you will be responsible for accurately reading and recording water meter data in the field, ensuring efficient utility management. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools. A valid driver's license is essential for traveling to various locations. Your relevant skills in voltmeter usage and low voltage systems will further enhance your effectiveness in this position, contributing to the overall success of our utility operations.
Responsibilities
- Read and record water meter readings accurately in the field.
- Utilize hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs of water meters.
- Conduct utility locating to ensure safe operations during meter installations.
- Perform equipment repairs and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Operate a bucket truck safely when necessary for elevated work.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license to travel to various job sites efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in diverse environments.
