Job Full Description
Digital Print Press Operator
Pay Range: $20-$25 / hour
Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm M-F
Location: Brea, CA
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow established procedures for changing jobs.
- Trouble shoot and adjust machine when necessary.
- Periodically check samples to ensure quality and size of product.
- Interacts with Packer’s and Quality Control.
- General cleanup of assigned station.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal communications.
- Simple math skills.
- Computer literate, Adobe Illustrator experience preferred.
- Previous print job planning is preferred.
- UV inkjet operation experience preferred.
- MGI knowledge, embellishment, Flexo UV, Spot UV and – Hot Foils is preferred.
- Familiarization with printing presses, die cutting, roll to roll converting and pouch bag machines is helpful.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to twist, turn, bend, and lift without restrictions.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Recognize colors.
