Position Overview

Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual with a strong background in accounting? Express Employment Professionals, Anaheim South, is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. As a Accounts Payable Clerk you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes for our clients in South Anaheim and the surrounding areas.

 Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and obtaining proper approvals.
  • Maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs, adhering to payment terms and schedules.
  • Monitor and analyze expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related inquiries.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Accounts Payable Clerk.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and vendors professionally.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
