Express Employment is looking for a Welder. Position requires 2 years of current welding experience or completion of a welding program.
Location: Chico, CA
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00/Hour DOE
Work Hours: Monday -Thursday, 5 AM – 3:30 PM, Work hours may vary

Job Description:
- Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand soldering and/or brazing equipment to weld
- Join metal components or to fill holes, indentation and/or seams of fabricated metal products
- Fabricate the company’s Bucket Shells, One Off Buckets from Proto Prints, Grabbers, Trash Clamps, Claws, Tilt Frames and/or Subframes under minimal supervision
- Work with Line-up Shafts ensuring parallel and correct spacing
- Perform Sub-Frame installs
- Can independently perform and instruct all the essential functions of an Assembly Welder
- Performs Quality Control of completed assignments, notifies Division Manager regarding estimate of extra time necessary to bring into compliance and makes the necessary corrections
- Can accurately work with Line-up Shafts ensuring they are parallel and spaced correctly.
- Can read prints and has an adequate understanding of math
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years of current welding experience or completion of a welding program
- Knowledge of all rules, regulations and safety procedures applicable to the practices, materials, terminology, methods and tools of the welding trade
- Knowledge and ability to use, maintain and teach the safety procedures for the Band Saw, Shear, Break, all Divisional Hand Tools and Welders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint in English
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled shop
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
