Express Employment is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic who has their own tools to join our team. This role requires a motivated individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of maintaining and repairing construction and industrial equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas, and diesel machinery is essential. This position requires 1-2 years of current experience.

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $32-$35/Hour DOE

Job Description:
- Maintain and repair various construction equipment and tools for safe operation.
- Perform equipment check-in/check-out and inspections for damage, fuel levels, and usage.
- Load/unload equipment and handle deliveries from vendors.
- Diagnose, evaluate, and complete necessary repairs.
- Follow company operational procedures and safety standards.
- Manage parts inventory and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding equipment use and rental.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a mechanic in equipment rental, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas, and diesel machinery.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Basic Equipment Industry training is preferred.
- Must have your own tools.
