Assembly Line Worker
The Assembly Line Worker is responsible for performing various tasks along the production line in the ice cream manufacturing facility. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality control procedures, and the ability to efficiently support the production process while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assembly Line Operations : Operate machines and equipment along the ice cream production line to prepare ingredients, mix, fill containers, and package finished products.
· Quality Control : Monitor products for consistency, quality, and packaging integrity, identifying any defects or issues and reporting them to the supervisor.
· Adherence to Standards : Follow established guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure all products meet quality and safety regulations.
· Material Handling : Assist in the preparation and handling of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging, ensuring they are available for smooth production flow.
· Cleaning and Maintenance : Regularly clean workstations, tools, and machinery to maintain a sanitary and safe production environment.
· Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of equipment, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production targets and achieve company goals.
· Inventory Support : Assist in tracking and reporting inventory levels of materials used during the production process.
· Machine Setup and Troubleshooting : Set up production equipment, including troubleshooting minor technical issues, to keep the assembly line running smoothly
· Continuous Improvement : Participate in training programs and contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process.
Skills & Abilities:
· Ability to operate basic machinery and equipment.
· Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control.
· Good communication skills to report issues and work with a team.
· Basic math skills for inventory tracking and production counts.
· Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
