Printer Service Technician- Healthcare Industry

Pay Rate: $21-24.00/Hour

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Leading provider of document management systems vendor within Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Hospital Service Technician specializing in hardware repair and Customer Service to join our team! The perfect candidate will be responsible for leading a technical support program onsite two sister hospitals in Kansas City area. As a Hospital Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site customer support and maintenance for our clients’ printer systems and networking. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Following up on service requests to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues for printers, copiers, and security systems
· Keeping accurate records of helpdesk tickets and service calls, including details of repairs, parts, and time spent on each service call
· Preventative maintenance and calibration on a variety of solutions that we provide such as- Printer fleet management, CRD/Mailroom services, Scanning solutions, Software solutions, and Security solutions.
· Act as a liaison between stakeholders and contracted technicians to ensure operations are running smoothly
· Educating and supporting clients on proper program management , maintenance, and support issues with document services
· Collaborate with the support team and escalate complex issues when necessary to ensure prompt resolution
· Staying up to date on the latest printer models, technologies, and industry trends
Qualifications:
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent
· Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
· Strong knowledge of medical devices, printer hardware, including printheads, paper feed systems, and maintenance kits
· Familiarity with major printer brands such as Kyocera! Similar experience a plus- HP, Canon, Epson, and Xerox, and ability to troubleshoot various models.
· Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving printer software problems, including, but not limited to driver installation and configuration
· Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a personal vehicle
· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
· Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
