Bilingual HR Assistant

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay Rate: $19-23/ Hour Based on Experience

Schedule: Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Fast paced employer in the car industry is looking for a dedicated Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions for a company of over 600 employees and fostering positive employee relations. you will collaborate with our field management team to provide HR processes and workflow management, team communication, and administrative work.

In this position, you must understand HR principles, ensure operational compliance and be able to apply this knowledge to identify practical solutions for our business challenges. You need to be confident at troubleshooting and investigate if you don’t have enough information. Your position will assist in crucial decision-making. It involves heavy interfacing with employees and collaborating with leaders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Process and verify accuracy of workers compensation claims, incidents, or occurrences according to established regulatory standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ensure accurate maintenance and confidentiality of all employee records and files
  • Provide education and guidance to employees and managers
  • Investigate employee concerns, and implement appropriate resolution steps
  • Assist with the preparation, deployment, signature completion, and organization of internal company documents, discipline documents, terminations, policies and acknowledgments
  • Maintain, update, and distribute department communications and spreadsheets, as needed
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining various employee databases and HR information systems.

Skills:

  • Bilingual- Spanish is a MUST
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks related to HR functions
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects
  • Familiarity with recruiting processes and talent acquisition strategies
  • Understanding of employment labor laws and regulations
  • Strong conflict management skills to handle employee relations issues effectively
