Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a UTILITY OPERATOR for our client in the city of Vernon.
Hourly Pay: $24.00 an hour
Schedule: 2nd shift FULL TIME - 3PM - 11PM
DUTIES:
- Operate specialized repair equipment including but not limited to: dip tanks, VPI systems and controlled temperature burnout and bake-out ovens as well as various handheld power and non-power tools
- Operate cleaning equipment including but not limited to: steam cleaner, parts washers, sand-blaster, etc.
- Cleans internal and external parts of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings and other equipment for repair
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years forklift & crane experience
- Familiarity with hand tools and specialized repair equipment
- Strong mechanical / electrical aptitude
- Ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical prints
