Express Employment Professionals of Downey is currently seeking a BLANCHARD OPERATOR for a well-established metal supplier in Huntington Beach, CA.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM

PAY: $20.00 - $26.00 an hour (depending on experience)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: long-term (temp to permanent hire)

Qualifications:

• 1 to 8 years experience as a blanchard operator, metal surface/double disc grinding REQUIRED
• Must be able to withstand physically demanding tasks (consistently heavy lifting - up to 50 pounds)
• Ability to read and take precise measurements
• Work well under pressure
• Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics and drawings

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery
• Plan proper sequence and machine settings
• Review drawings, instructions and samples for accurate production
